Hydrotech recommends replacing your sediment filter every 6 months. Stage 2 – A carbon block filter removes VOCs, bacteria and other small contaminants from your water. Hydrotech recommends replacing your carbon block filters every 6 months. Stage 3 – A reverse osmosis membrane filters out almost anything else that passed through the other two stages on its way to your faucet. Hydrotech recommends replacing the RO membrane every 24 months. The EP Series uses advanced ionization technology. The EP Series electrodes chamber is comprised of Platinum coated Titanium electrodes with a proprietary matting, which enhances ionization efficiency while providing extreme resistance to mineral deposits.
